The Stockton Bight Sand Dunes need to be seen to be believed... covering an area of over 2,500 hectares along the 32 kilometre long Stockton Beach.

Dunes of brilliant white sand climb up to 30 metres high with slopes up to 60 degrees (just waiting for some sandboarding action). Port Stephens 4WD Tours have been established for over 10 years, offering the best choice of tours to experience the dunes.

4WD Sandboarding Shuttle

We will pick you up from the lower carpark in one of our purpose built 4WD vehicles and transport you to the best sandboarding dunes available. Sandboards, instruction and supervision are provided and you can sandboard for as long as you like before being transported down to the beach for pipi catch and release, and then back to the carpark at the end of you dune adventure.

Departs: Lower car park at the end of James Paterson St, Anna Bay. Hop on/Hop off between 10.00am and 3.30pm daily (4.30pm during school holidays).

2 Hour Beach and Dune Tour

11 kilometres of beach and dune driving to 'Tin City,' a small makeshift fishing village that emerges from the dunes like a mirage! View WWII and historical sites, with beach activities including pipi catch and release, and sandboarding down the huge dunes.

Departs: Lower car park at the end of James Paterson St, Anna Bay at 10.00am daily, 10.00am & 3.00pm on Saturdays, 10.00am & 3.00pm daily during school holidays.

3 Hour Sygna Wreck Tour

26 kilometres of beach and dune driving to the Sygna Wreck - a Norwegian bulk carrier that ran aground during heavy seas in 1974. Morning or afternoon tea is included, before travelling back via 'Tin City,' WWII and historical sites, with beach activities including pipi catch and release... and sandboarding.

Departs: Lower car park at the end of James Paterson St, Anna Bay at 2.00pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (daily during school holidays).

Exclusive Charter Options

Privately charter one of our air conditioned Landcruisers exclusively for your group. Our tour guides will tailor a tour to suit your individual interests, with a maximum ratio of seven passengers to one guide. Extend and enhance your experience with your own personal tour!

Departs: On request from the lower car park at the end of James Paterson St, Anna Bay.

Price: $200.00 for the first hour, $175.00 every hour after per vehicle (maximum seven passengers per vehicle).
(Note: NSW National Parks and Wildlife fee of $1.65 per person must be added to above prices).
