Moonshadow believe in getting our passengers to experience as much as possible. . . get out and do it! And, to make this easier we have offered packages with Port Stephens 4WD Tours incorporating a cruise and 4WD. Well, now we have taken this a step further with 'Triple the Adventure', and 'Beach, Boats & Beer'.

Triple the Adventure... is the ultimate Port Stephens adventure package. Included is a tandem parasail with Port Stephens Parasailing, a buffet lunch and dolphin watch cruise with Moonshadow and a sandboarding adventure with Port Stephens 4WD Tours. The package is only $125 per adult and $105 per child and it can be taken over a number of days or can be fit into one day. . . whatever suits you!

Beach, Boats & Beer... a genuine fully escorted great day out! We will pick you up from your Port Stephens accommodation house and take you directly to the Stockton Bight Sand Dunes. Explore the dunes, visiting Tin City, digging for pipis and don't miss out on sandboarding. You will then be transported into Nelson Bay to board Moonshadow for a freshly prepared buffet lunch and a cruise of Port Stephens harbour in search of our local Bottlenose dolphins. After you cruise meet your friendly guide for your transfer to Murrays Brewery/Port Stephens Winery where you can sample local craft beers and boutique wines (don't miss out trying 'Murray's Whale Ale', only available in Port Stephens). Just keep relaxing, you don't have to drive home as we will transfer you back to your accommodation!

The Summer Cruise Season Begins... It feels like Summer is already here and with daylight savings beginning in NSW on 4th October it is time to get all of our cruises back on schedule. From the 3rd October we will have three dolphin watch cruises daily (10:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm), as well as Twilight Dinner cruises every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night (and with the sun setting much later you will actually get to cruise as the sun sets), and our full day, all inclusive cruise to Broughton Island National Park will be setting out each Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday as well!

Visit the Port Stephens Whale Festival. The 2009 Port Stephens Whale Festival is on again from 3rd - 12th October. There will be loads of activities happening daily (as well as cruises). . . and most of them are free! Family fun is the focus with live entertainment, education talks, displays, music, sand modelling competitions, colouring competitions and more. Don't Miss Out on Seeing the Whales This Year

The Southern migration is well underway with plenty of mothers and their newborn calves heading past our coastline on their return to Antarctica. You only have until mid November to see the whales this year, then you will have to wait until mid May 2010 for the season to begin again. So don't miss the boat!
